Rashmi!!! Glad to see you in this group!

Irony is painful at times, eh? And even a bit humorous to the reader ;).

Thank you for hosting. Trying to pack meaning without any background is tough...enjoyed the brain workout.

Thanks Jo :).

It is painful, maybe because most Ironic stuff is a drawing of our attention to Truth.

lol... A rich man ! What he 'lost' is nothing to what he has gained. : ))
Great story... ! so much said.. I can imagine how each who reads it will have a different viewpoint of this man's misfortunes or fortune, depending on how one sees it.

I agree, it leaves a different viewpoint. Now if he was someone who enjoyed making documentaries or was a handyman, I would say, he GAINED...for now he has all the time to concentrate on pursuits he enjoys.

lol.. As I was reading it... I thought... Wow! a clean slate ! he can rewrite his life any way he chooses...I wonder how many choose to see the better side of something "lost"... and how it might be the best damned thing that could have happened to them...LOL !

oooooh I LOVE this one!!! I want to see how that unfinished story ends... it could still be a Life Lived Well without the cheating wife! lol

How like a man, measuring worth in material goods. lol.

I thought that was very well written. :)

Mindsnomad Yay said...

Glad it did Bill. It is better to leave amicably than have a war on hand eating into all that we are.

Mindsnomad Yay said...

Yes, it definitely is a good life without a cheating spouse.

LOL, it does seem very typical for a man...the woman took the money, so guess they are on the same wavelength. Therefore a good match, sad they didnt stay together.
