Observations and Updates- my 1st blog in Multiply

Thank you! those who sent me invites and thank you! too to those who accepted my invite :). Although I am not a fan of redundancy, I am here, as a precaution, just in case Yahoo really decides to close down. I have been meddling with the site, going to wait for a few more weeks before I decide whether I like it or not. Now to the other side of my thinking-what is there to like or not like, we have to work within what we have. 

I havent figured how to import the Blog comments from yahoo.  If anyone has a clue, please let me in on it.  The reason for wanting to import everything from Yahoo was not so much what I wrote but what the opinions of Friends and others was, so somehow I feel  shortchanged.

I managed to load some of the albums which werent showing on Yahoo because of yahoo-mares. 

Those of you who have an interest in world music, theres one group I am presently impressed with, ok Not the Group as such but the Song and the fact that they dont use any instruments except for their vocal chords.  The Group is Les Charbonniers de L'Enfer from Canada and their song "au diable les avocats" has me mesmerized(yes, this too shall pass).  You could listen to the song on LINKTV's Music page- go to "browse song" and look in the North America" region.

Its been a busy Month for me but I just cant seem to list what I did.  I have been on a Book reading-Cooking too much food-too many kid scheduled activities-too many projects to finish before december Binge.(Phew).   For a while this year I thought I had too much time on hand, I guess I spoke a little too soon Or maybe its the Procrastinator in me who is disappearing(now theres a- if wishes were horses theme).

I hope all of you have had a good weekend. For all those who knew me on Yahoo "I am glad to see you all here :)"  For those who did'nt "Glad to meet you :). Looking forward to making your acquiantance".

AM I FRUSTRATED? sure am.. dont even ask to what degree, cause 360 aint enough...(see how mad I am, I speak in messed up english too). My owes started with the visitor number suddenly running backwards. It didnt bother me cause visitor numbers were not for what I was here. Then the quick comment section started getting messed up.. Yes, it made me wonder if someone hacked into this account too, got me worried enough to fill up the feedback form. The next day, I notice my friends have disappeared from the list although the number of friends was the same. So I send another feedback form. I get an instantaneous reply from the Yahoo 360 saying that they will fix it but cant give a time frame. Now its almost a week and guess what, nothing is set straight. Now I am in a dilemma. Should I shut this account and start a new one? I would lose the comments that I enjoyed. Should I stop using 360 and find someplace else to blog at? Someplace with less hassles, if there is One like that?

Arghh!! I am not the kind that loses my cool but this has me HOPPING MAD that its decapitated my thinking capability. I want to throw the towel and just give up. What else can I do? My friends are still not in the list. I click on the "My friends" button and it gives me a "Cant find the page error". The Quick comments is still messed up and in all of this I get this message from a stranger "your eyes are nice but not your eyebrow"  Hrrrrammmphh.. like that is the most important thing in my life right now. I was half tempted to reply "thank you for noticing my eyebrows, they arched for your attention." But then I felt that would be a waste of my time.

Going to stop ranting. Any suggestions on what I should be doing with regards to fixing my 360 page, while I wait the Yahoo fix?
