Thoughts and Priorities.

I read about the Fort Hood Rampage.  The Heights of Irony was the Supposed Healer of the Mind was actually Sick in his Mind.

Here are the questions that I wrestle with most of the time.  Spiritually/Philosophically I have very Idealistic answers for many of the conflicts but when it comes to practicality and what works in the real world, its a different ball game, it doesnt always happen the way I envision it in my mind.

If I had to choose between
- Ethics and Religion
- my Home country and my country of Residence
- Religion and Nation
- my Family and Nation
- Emotion and Objectivity
- Duty and Conscience

What choices would I make?  To make these choices what kind of a frame of mind should I be in?  What would make me stronger in mind to be able to make the choice and never regret it?  What would Truth look like then?

I know the questions I am going to ask next will cause a degree of uncomfortable-ness, so you dont have to give me your answers, just give yourselves the answers.

If you answered my questions of conflict, what would your answers be?

What are your Priorities when it comes to these Issues, please Put them in the order of importance - Money, Family, Nation, Religion, Humanity, Friends, Ethics, Race?

Would the list look the same if you considered what is Good for our World as a whole in the decades and generations to come and not just You?

Look Back on your past actions and see if what you listed as priority was how you acted?  Does it match with the list you just made?

Pondering and questioning As Always
Peace
Rashmi.

P.S.  After answering these questions, lets judge Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan after we look into ourselves and Keeping in mind that the Media doesnt let us in on ALL the Facts.  This doesnt mean I condone his action cause the way I see it, if he was that keen on killing he should have just killed himself instead of the others.

For most of the times I am trying to stick with ethics and conscience. Of course, I dont know how I would react if my family and the ones I love would be endangered, this is true. But I can not accept killing as a solution and I can't find any decent reason for that!

Thank you Simona and Claudia. I really dont know what I would choose, cause they would depend on what the reasons are for getting to that point of having to make the choice. Though I like sticking with Family, Ethics, Objectivity and Conscience.

My answer is no matter what..come from Love pure unconditional Love....and using the wisdom deeply inherent within .....we have the answers given to us in every situation but because we are also given choices..this becomes our human failing more often than not.

The context is everything. I don't think there's ever a fixed order.
