I have decided call that sudden Aha! Light bulb moments in my simple, mundane life as Brain Knocks. Why? Hmm.. I have no idea, no wait, I think its because it feels like someone knocked on my door. When I open the door, its one of these Realizations.
I realized(this happens only to be forgotten and re-reminded again at some later date) that one of the many reasons I have paper clutter, is due to the fact that I collect quotes that make sense in the moment, which get written on sticky notes or backs of the grocery bills or any piece of paper lying around and I get really attached to the pieces of paper. I cant seem to get rid of this habit. I tried keeping a small note book, but the book has legs or something equivalent to legs, cause when I need it, I cant find it. So now, I have quote books and papers, recipe books and paper, list of books to read and notes, notes from books I read and sticky notes, drawings and love-notes my children made when they couldnt hold the pencil, to the ones they make now, Letters and cards from friends & family before email was commonplace, photos from before the digital era and photos in albums *sigh*. All this comes to light cause my children are at home and we decided to get ordered together. Hmm..I am a Paper Magnet *smile* and a Highly Organized Person(NOT).
So here I am making a Resolution for this year's End is to get everything Organized and have ONE place... why am I talking about this.. I have no idea, just felt like it. Would I succeed going against my Nature so far? Will let you know when I really get these in order.
The Weekend is almost here.. Have a wonderfully Relaxed, Restful Weekend! Dont forget to have some good Belly Laughs, they are good for our soul.
Peace,
Rashmi.

i have a suggestion a nice looking wodden box, you put everything in there like if it was a treasure, you open it once in a while just for the fun of it...
I tried that! Once you get everything in order, you wont find anything anymore! hehe
I was thinking of a box myself, but jolaranita was faster! :P
Enjoy the day with the kids, Rashmi!

your sister

I dont know Danette.. Its usually not visible on the outside, its the paper in those drawers where I know its there without order.
maybe you need a whole room then...
When you come up with a solution, would you please let me know what it is ..? I am surrounded by sticky notes and scraps of paper , and stacks of odd looking, inert guardians of buried treasure akkkk ! .. help !
Well, at least you wrote your thoughts on the pc, and not more paper ;).
I type quotes into a folder on my pc, where I can pull 'em out when I need inspiration.

LOL Tina, isnt it fun to read through and see how far you have come in 9 years? of course, should you sit down and read, all of the organizing goes up in smoke :P
