1. We went to Silver Falls State Park over the weekend and saw six of the ten waterfalls in that area, and now the muscles I didnt know existed in my calf, are still hurting. Will load the photos soon.
2. I harvested two beans yesterday *giggling* glad I am not feeding the planet.
3. We planted our fig tree and it is looking good these 4 days...Its made my daughter very responsible, she has been watering it without my having to remind her. My soul is smiling.
4. I need to lose a few pounds and get really fit. I want to be able to take my children on a 10 mile hike in three years.
5. I hope that wish of mine doesnt fizzle out come winter.
6. My muse has deserted me, I cant think of anything to write.
7. We might be going to British Columbia later this month...its still tentative.
8. I am reading a Toni Morrison "The bluest Eye". I love the perspective she offers through the little girl's eye. I wonder if I will ever be able to achieve that kind of painting with words.
9. Someone I know via emails wants to convince me that Extra-terrestrials are our Gods...I am going to wait on that thought for a very long time. It maybe plausible but my rational refuses to equate them to God. I know I cant win this argument, but I am not going to lose either, so I sit on the fence. I have become adept at being in the middle, when it comes to Religious/Moral arguments.
10. I managed to get my Okra to survive without a greenhouse...now if it would just give me a few okras, I will see bliss.
Wishing you all a wonderful day. Thank you for dropping by. Remember to find smiles in all that you do, everyday is a treasure hunt ;).
Peace
Rashmi.

1. I love waterfalls..I climbed two of the falls leading up to Little Yosemite Valley when I was 42..with a full back pack ...was a fantastic climb. I could not do it today.. but at least I can say I did it..lol
2. lol... I bet they taste good.
3. She is gonna love to eat those figs... with pride ..
4. (In order to take the backpacking trip above...I was told by the leader 3 months in advance... ( I was 20 lbs overweight.. in horrid shape.).. He said.. Bicycle 15-20 miles every day.. do 1 hour of aerobics..every day... Hike two miles on mountain trails at least two days a week with a small pack, on my back, 3 months later I was in the best shape of my life and out did the college students who went on the trip..lol
5. Goals are good...
6. Your muse is somewhere with my muse... Slackers !
7. ooo Nice !
8. I say it again... Your words turn into music any woman can relate to..
9. I believe we have a plethora of ET's... some who wish they were gods...and some may be gods in their own creative way... Believe what you want to believe and what makes you feel free of doubt... Personally I believe there is One Creator... the others ..well.. they are no different than us...in a pecking order kind of way...lol
10. Not too sure if I would use valuable space growing okra...as I have no clue how to cook it..
I have been watching a whole bunch of cooking shows and travel shows that feature the Indian cuisines... and I am still clueless...lol ...
I smile every time I visit your space.
I hope your day is filled with peace...
@ Jackie, yes, shes going to wait for the figs. LOL@ slackers. Thank you! for #8. The one thing we all agree about in our home is Okra *giggling*
Funny, I just ordered "Chariots of the Gods" from Netflix. :)
Question...you wrote you harvested two beans...coffee beans? ;)
Hmm, ET's being gods...I am pretty open-minded and believe different folks have differnet "Higher Powers" and that no one has a monopoly on God. I believe a HP comes in all different forms. But I cannot wrap my brain around an ET being out god.
For what it is worth, I think your words paint vivid pics.
Don't you hate it when body parts, like muscles you did not know you have, hurt and you cannot even spell those parts??? ;)
French beans, the veges. I planted 10 seeds of which only two survived the cold weather. and those two gave me two beans.. oh wait.. 3, I got one more this morning.
I can wrap my brain around the idea of the existence of ET but they dont fit my idea of HP. We cloned a Pig and provide it food to live, doesnt mean we are the pig's God. And even ET work with some form of energy...Until my "idea" changes, I am a happy fence sitter.
Thank you Jo...
LOL, yes, and as I grow older, I am becoming more aware of body parts that I didnt know I had.
Pea shoots are the fashionable thing to eat these days, scattered all over your meet and fish so the tendrils get stuck down your throat like hairs.
