Poetry Wednesday 09/30/2009

Answering Sue's Question

Sue asks in her Poetry Wednesday entry
What does love means to you?
My answer has changed
Many times over the years
Here's today's voice
Based on yesterday's thoughts
I see Love,
In every piece of nature,
In every breath of life
In every wondrous creature
In the music of the fife
In the call of a child
In the whispers of the wild
In the rebuke of an elder
In the touch of a lover
In every drop of rain
In every grain of sand
In all things that ripple joy
In that favorite piece of toy
In the things we do
In the reasons we dont
In All that we perceive
Love, we do receive
How aware are we?
Of the invisible ocean we swim in?

P. S. This was written based on this entry I wrote a while ago.

Good stuff! Very thoughtful and insightful.

I browsed back to your explanation of the wearing of the Bindi and found it to be very educational. I knew someone years ago who talked about his "kundalini", etc., but I really don't think he knew anything about it, had just memorized a few key phrases that he would drop at cocktail parties.

This is my entry for this week

Any thoughts on it would be appreciated.

That line made me smile. Love might be invisible but it can be felt if one just opens oneself up to it, eh? Beautiful words.
