Ten Thoughts Tuesday

1. Yesterday, I watched Oprah. The program was about finding out that she had a Half-sister. For once I was glad that someone in the media highlighted a good character, someone who didnt take advantage of someone elses success to ride the wave to fame.

2. I am in a Letting Go/Clearing out mode. I have been clearing out stuff that I have been holding on to with no real purpose other than sentimentality. I feel a lot lighter. I think its something in the Planetary position/Motion that is making me do this.

3. I Made the Kimchee, a traditional Korean cabbage pickle, that is a staple in their diet. I am waiting on its fermenting now. I also had a Korean Acquaintance of mine come over to taste it, cause I havent ever tasted real Kimchee. She said it tasted good, though the colour was lighter than what it normally would be. Next time, I am going to make it better now that I tasted her kimchee. So Yay! for me.

4. I forgot to return books to the library and now I will end up paying a fine...What was I thinking?

5. Our Neighbourhood is going through a stomach flu, and I am crossing my fingers and toes that it doesnt visit me. My son's been feeling a little nauseous since the day before yesterday.

6. The Garbage truck and me in the Car danced on the road today.. and it was really amusing. She backs up and there are two cars parked on either side of the road so here I am backing up behind her and she goes where ever I go. Well, I am home now. Note to self : Dont ever get behind a Garage truck.

7. The book Code name: God, is very interesting.

8. We are having a dry, but cloudy, foggy day today.. hope it doesnt rain. There have been landslides and flooding in some areas from excessive rains. Its not as bad as what is happening in Australia or Phillipines.

9. I am going to watch Eat Pray Love, cause it seems to have rave reviews...I havent read the book but from reading the "gist" I get the feeling that this movie will be about something I already know.

10.Today is going to be a busy day... I hope to be Tiredly Happy at the end of my day.

Thank you for reading and/or leaving thoughts. Have a wonderful day, no matter what you do or where you are.

Peace
Rashmi.

Kimchee is work. But its the kind of work that felt good to do.
We had a dry but foggy day today...so I guess its getting better, and I saw some of the bulbs peeping from the ground. I am thinking Early Spring?

I watched it and liked it...It seems to fall in line with how I feel on occasion. But I wont recommend it to the Men. I dont think they are designed to understand a woman's delimma.
LOL @ cheat a bit and add colour to it..the colour was from the type of red chili pepper used. I should have used the Paprika instead of the Indian Red Chili powder.

I love this TTT... I really do like hearing about your life.. what your interests are... and how wonderfully normal your days are... You have such a full life....I watched The Gourmet's Travel show .. It was in Korea.. They showed the ancient traditional way to make and serve the Kimchee the way it was served to the Royal families. It is not an easy thing to do.. We have a very good Korean restaurant here that serves it.. Sooo good !
LOL ! @ Garbage trucks...
and the weather here is getting back to our normal winter sunshiny days and cool nights.. so it takes me back out to my garden for some midwinter trimming.
Thank you for the little push to watch Eat, Pray Love. I was wondering if it was a good movie to watch..
And thank you for sharing your life with us... :)
