Running

I pound the gravel up the hill
Running as fast as I could
Sure of being pursued.
No time to turn and look
The chaser in the eye.
Now too tired from the exertion
I try to remember what got me running.
Only to realize
I know not why or what I run from
Could it be Life?

Thought provoking - very. Yet we have one life to live. Here again I think of this term of cadence.
A prosperous type of quality of cadence as then there is so many things that are realized in accord to what we pursue.

wow Rashmi, how true this often is, and such a sync too, Cyn's been talking about the white rabbit saying ""I'm late! I'm late! for a very important date!" LOL!

yesterday I kept feeling like I was rushing, and had to keep asking myself, why do you feel a need to hurry??

Maybe you are running to life, rather than from it?

Reminds me of an exercise machine... run fast ..as fast as you can .. but you are still in the same place.
