1. Its School day. I am feeling very Thankful for routine...We had the laziest weekend ever. Its almost like I have Lost a sense of Time.
2. Why is it so difficult to get back to being "how it was before" a particular event? Especially when those events poison the way you think or be, I wish there was an antidote. Never Mind, going to put it out of my head for now.
3. Its a nice warm day today, LOVE the sunshine.
4. I love watching the Science Channel especially the Program, which Dr. Michio Kaku hosts. Guess I am in love with his clarity in explaining complex aspects of space and time in simple language.
5. I have not touched a fiction since finishing "The east of Eden", but I have a long "Must read" list.
6. I did not call Home this weekend, so I am hoping everything is well. No news is Good news, Right?
7. I dread the laundry, since I did nothing except cook over the Long weekend(yesterday was memorial day), I have quite a few loads to do which means I cant stay outside for long.
8. I got a book on Origami Flowers, have to look through them so that I can help my monkeys make some.
9. I Have to reinforce the Art of Saying NO sweetly, need to practice.
10. I need to let go of my need to have others in my family maintain the same degree of order in the house, its giving me gray hair and making me obnoxious.

I am sorry for 7th, I know the feeling..9th made me smile, we are truly sisters!
As about the last one, I think I did that long time ago! :)
Have a beautiful day, sis!
Hugs
no...such a short word...such a complicated concept...especialy for women...good luck!
foget about number 10 there is nothing to do about that...
origami flowers that sounds great do not forget to share the pictures of your creations with us...
have a wonderful sunny day...and yes no news is good news
1.... Ahhh sweet laziness..it should be in the list of commandments...Thou shalt be lazy. lol
2... wow ...sounds disturbing.. that it could leave you feeling "poisoned"... I hope wellness returns, without residue
3....Here too... out in the garden cleaning up a few weeds, sweeping the patio, watering, and just plain breathing it all in... Enjoy !!
4....Never watched him.. will have to look for that.
5....Settling down to read a book feels like tooth pulling in a way... we keep putting it off... waiting for the right moment to disappear into it...Finding the novacaine that dispells the pain of wrenching free of responsibilities. ( we can be so dramatic can't we ?) lol
6....I suspect if there were 'bad news' you would have heard it , pronto.
7....One day we will find the magic wand that cleans the laundry with a pert wave and flick of the wrist... Where the heck did we put it anyway ?
8....Have fun !!
9....Saying NO is bitter and sweet..like medicine it can be the right tonic for what ails one, or the reward to Self with a pat on the back for doing one's job.
10....When you figure out how to do that, write a book on it.. lol...A woman's nest is sacrosanct.. and the defilers will always be subject to her mood.
Ah yes, that tidiness thing. It dives me crazy...can't they see that things are in the wrong place and toothpaste is smeared all over the counter and not on the brush, which means more work for me?
Things never go back to the way they were before, especially if someone has been hurt along the way.
It's the ironing I hate, not the laundry. Maybe you need a machine with a bigger drum? Irecently upgraded and it feels like much less.
All children are made to do chores in Jamaica according to a TV programme here: it instils discipline and self-worth. I make Oscar do a tiny bit of sweeping up now and then. He's much more accommodating afterwards.
Yes! you get it. And spots on the mirror too.. whats with that?
Its the loads - a dark colored one, a light, sheets, towels etc. etc., which means folding that much(my nemesis is folding).
Thank you Jackie, ok poisoned was a strong word, but its that feeling that something is spoiled/lost/marred/ruined and theres no going back.
I have the toughest time saying NO to family...
Laughing at the last comment, it will make the best sellers list if I did find a solution.
Will do if they turn out nice and beautiful :)
I think the spots get on during toohbrushing. Ordinary window cleaner to hand helps. I get all the things which don't need folding out first, like socks and underwear, it reduces the load quite a bit, then do towels and sheets which are easy, which makes them even smaller.
Seems our weekends are always having the kids friends over and even though its become routine its kind of exhausting. When there bad events, i think it just takes more time, i agree too bad there isn't an antidote to make it all better but unfortunately there isn't ,sending a lots of hugssssss they help ! I love warm Sun days ! I enjoy those kind of stores too, the space and earth Chanel's. I haven't read a book in quite a while, but i visited a flea market and yard sale and found some great recipe books, i have a large collection of those , my last one was dated 1939, and one of the recipes was pickeled water melon rind, that just didn't sound good but i was amazed to find out people actually eat them lol ! I hope all is well with your family, i know that must be a really big challenge for you living so far away from them. I have to do laundry everyday, for us 4 people it seems as if there are 8 of us ! I hope you post the pictures of the flowers the kids make, sounds interesting . lol saying no sweetly, now that's gonna be hard ! Cleaning up and picking up, no matter how much you tell them you still got to do it, i like my family pitching in, they don't do it the way i like but i guess practice will make perfect , at least i hope lol!
Number 8.
Please post photo's of the Origami. :)
