Tears in Smiles

Smiles lighting up the face always
Pouring joy into heaven's stairways
Sending curves to the fairy's lips
Happiness tingling at finger tips.

Yet a trail of ache remain
In shadows left behind
Singing to her voice's content
Revealing the coiled serpent.

Each recognize their own kind
Their own kind, they will find
Like a dancer knows those who dance
Like a singer knows those who sing.

Those who cry, hear her silent cry.
How does she hide her tear?
Wonder the ones who are dear.
Does she hide her tear with a smile?
Maybe changed the way she cried.

"Those who cry, hear silent cry"
This is the most touching line I read in a long time.
