I am not going to rub it in as to how busy life is cause everyone has a busy life and it is a good life. The weird thing is no matter how busy I am, my mind never seems to feel like it needs to rest and so went into all the things that I heard on the news as I drove to and from school and the grocery store(yes, that is the limits of my driving ).
Update of the week- My daughter turned 7. My Mother had a better week compared to the previous one. We finally fixed the garage door(partly, its got an Ironic two line story attached to it which I will blog on sometime). The war in Iraq and Afghanistan is still going on. There are still so many people in our world who are hungry and diseased. World cup cricket group matches are going on. The Pakistani Coach Bob Woolmar was murdered, guess it had to do with Money involved in Bets. I donât feel like paying attention to any of these matches.
The week started off with a call from my part time employer asking if I could work 4 days this week instead of the One. So I agree, thinking â instead of sitting at home doing the chores that never seem to have proof of having been done at least I will have some money in the bank(a tangible evidence that I did do something this week). So Monday morning started off with a Rush(I really live up to my name Rush Me). We were late to get to the bus-stop so daughter missed bus, which means I drive her to school and then go the opposite direction to my sonâs school(thankfully thatâs where I work). So made a mental note to not be late the next dayâ¦but guess whatâ¦we were late on all the days of the week. Thursday offered a respite⦠but I was busy trying to get all the household chores done.
Spring is here- It feels good(except for mine and my daughterâs allergies) to go out and look at all the blooms and the sprouts, listen to the song birds and the hummingbirdâs wings go zzzzzz, squirrels run around and see people without their jackets. Portland had the March Madness at work, it was sunny a few days then it rained a few. It felt like as if the weather got my contagious disease of Indecision. Its still deciding if it wants to be cold or warm or rain or sun. Today is has been drizzling all through the morning.
So all in all, I had a week without my usual blog fix and I am suffering from blog withdrawal symptoms. I will not be able to get online next week too but I will get a blog overdose in two weeks. Sometimes Life demands that I take a route other than the ânormalâ one. So until then, have beautiful days and if they arenât, Make it so. Take care of yourselves, sending healing wishes to those who have been sick or dealing with sick family members, Blessings to all the young ones and I seek blessings of the elders.
With that I end the weekly Update. (read that in a Radio Voice )
Peace Always
Rashmi.
