Trust walks out the door?

 

Have you ever noticed

When the amused don’t smile

Their eyes crinkle and sparkle?

 

Have you ever noticed

The knowing of a parent

When their child is in danger?

 

Have you ever noticed

When you are sad and no one knows

Your pet sits with you in silent comfort?

 

Have you ever noticed

The opposite of “I Love” is not “I Hate”

But the phrase “I Loved…”

 

Have you ever noticed

When we don’t know what to do

We cling to the familiar ?

 

Have you ever noticed

That when you are hugged

You can tell if it was meant?

                                                      

Have you ever noticed

That in our Silence

We notice all things?
