Resting my Burden - CC #223

What I said or did when I shouldnt have,
And didnt say or  do when I should have,
Lay in a heap in my room of regret.
I dragged my feet,
Walked on eggshells,
With the many,
Should'ves, Could'ves and Would'ves
Now, wishing to lay these burdens to rest.

Bear with me Please,
Grant me this last wish,
As I speak my mind
Or stay silent,
when you think I shouldnt;
As I give my Trust,
Or withhold it,
When you think I shouldnt;
Or do the things
I long wished to
No matter what you think;
I'd like to leave things clean
Before I go.
