Presenting : Twisted Logic in 55 words.
She sat on the bed, half naked, wincing as he applied the balm over the welts on her back.
She tried but didn’t understand. "Why?" she whispers, eyes brimming.
"Because I love you" He says. “You correct the one you love" He justifies.
"Its best not to be loved" her bowed head concludes in silence.

(She came to school bruised and wincing. "He pushed me down the stairs because he said I was looking at another boy. But he apologized after and brought me flowers. Isn't he soooo romantic?" We were both enamoured of this boy, but he chose her instead of me. And every day I thanked God he did.)

I am glad he chose her instead of you..but I would have been happier if she told him off and he didnt get either of you.

Did he mean, listen to the Men in their lives or Listen to the ones who said "Leave that man and get away as far as you can"?
I tend not to be surprised by the things we are capable of...Most times it just makes me sad and disgusted, then I move on when I know I cant do much for the other when the other is not willing to do what they can for themselves. I justify my schism in what I would like to happen with what IS happening, with "this is the way life is".
I cant justify what that man did to his children, cause the Bible also calls on Being Kind and Compassionate too.
I would Doubt a God that would want me to do something that is unjustifiably cruel.
I think its a sickness-wanting to control the other person.
Exactly! it has nothing to do with Love, but funnily some think doing something Cruel is also Love.
