Life, Right now.

If I were to be at different places
Peeping into life's different paces

Right now, somewhere in our world

- a baby draws its first breath
- An Elder breathes his last
- Gentle rains soothe scorched earth
- Storms rumble,  landslides tumble
- the sun is shining
- the moon hides behind the clouds
- Love sees another coupling
- Indifference sees another heartbreak
- the Orca hunts
- the Humpback sings
- A pearl forms within an oyster
- A pearl disintergrates as a tear
- corals wave their tentacles
- stoned is a stone fish
- a whelk floats to the surface
- sand sinks to the bottom
- dawn has arrived
- dusk has fallen
Knowing this, life is a list of happenings
My life, but one of these many events
Just One knit in a  bulky sweater
Important yet not Important
In the Grand scheme of our Universe.

Mindsnomad Yay said...

LOL, sometimes yes, national geographic channel and History Channel.

The National Geographic website is great, if a bit heavy on animals killing each other.

The Hunt is very appealing for some reason...its changed for humans... now our prey is money, career, power, spirituality, identity, self etc. but the underlying concept is the same - Hunt.

A socially acceptable form of enjoyment of bloodlust perhaps, now we can't throw people to the lions.

Mindsnomad Yay said...

Now theres a sight...Bloodlust still goes on in other parts of the world with a new name, Hazing, Initiations into certain associations, war and terrorism.
