Ok, I dont understand the noise people are making about it. I never met either people in person or know them any more than whats said in the Media so I can really never say what kind of people they are. But there is this instinct that says Powell is guilt-ridden for what has happened and what he did(whether on his own or through manipulation), since his time in office and his subsequent resignation from it.

I absolutely agree ... you took the words from my mouth ... I do believe he got caught in a trap..and now he takes a stand... I think if I shared a dwelling with idiots I would move , too.

LOL! it does remind me of certain characters in the Epic of Mahabharatha... they were stuck on the wrong side due to certain vows they made earlier or due to their sense of Duty/Loyalty. If we have a deep sense of loyalty it really takes everything in our being to go against someone we percieve as owing either duty or loyalty to. It is a rare trait these days... I like what one of my friends said "I am loyal to only ONE person- ME"
Can I put that on a T-Shirt ?
LOL, go ahead, have fun.
I don't think its guilt, but a torturous decision when you read his reasons. So far, I haven't seen those reasons refuted by any major Republican leaders. They are not saying much..thus agreeing.
I suppose we could say that or they dont want to say anything to give ammunition to the voters to go against them.
Powell is a traitor who lied us into war with Iraq...
Now we should take his opinion on Barack Husein Obama?
Looks like somebody wants a job hehe
