A tale I love to tell myself
During the time of dreams
Elusive as they can be,
Simple folks, living simple lives,
People sated in body and spirit
Every home brimming with Care
Rare, non existent, negativity's scare
All of us working, sharing with joy
Togetherness, made crosses easy to bear
Egos had no place to grow.
Violence in mind or body, totally unknown
Open to the abundance of the universe
In every home, smiling souls
Children with innocence shining through
Elders with their guiding wisdom.
Willing a heaven into existence
Hanging on to the dream
Desperate voice prays- "May it be so"
"Oh Please!! May it be so".

I read it, then saw the Desperate Voice, that lead each sentence onwards. I thought this very inovative and classy. The poem itself was beautiful in it's mere simplicity.

Acrostic poems are a great writing exercise for as you said it allows you to think of what to lay onto paper first and connect each line continually. Very well done.
