Creative Challenge # 111 - A tragic story

An Unanswered Thought

Click on the image to enlarge it

For those who cant see the enlarged image and words, Here are the words

If we counted those moments in our lives,

When we lived in mindful awareness

And subtracted them,

From all  the moments of our existence

Would the remainder be,

The reason why we make a tragic story?

Ummm....VERY thought provoking. Would it be tragic or triumphant?

It depends on whether the glass is half-full or half-empty, wouldn't you say? After all, there is beauty in even the most un-beautiful things.

Beautiful thought, Rashmi. I would like to believe the remainder, after all the math is said and done, is not so tragic after all.

I suppose defining tragedy requires a perception of all we experience and finding the equation out of balance. What I tend to see is the moments of mindful awareness as checkpoints...markers, or a lightbulb flashing to show the way... All else is perceived by choice.

I really don't know the answer...unlike mathematics that is a sure science, life is very subjective..
