Is this what we want for our children? Sometimes I wonder, is the Isolation worth it? Does this really reflect how we actually feel or are we just using another mask?

I'm not too sure about technology being all bad or all good. I have benefited from it but also became....ugh...lazy. But now I have my exercise bike and my audio books to listen to. :P
But yeah, we all need to interact more in the physical world.

I dont think technology is Bad or Good. I think it has its uses. Its the abuse or misuse of it that makes me want to back off. I wouldnt want my children getting to stuff on the screen to the point where its detrimental to their health or building social and psychological skills. An addiction to a degree where building a relationship, cleaning up the house, keeping a good sense of self, going to work and studying becomes the last Priority. There is a REAL life outside of that Screen. Life isnt about Machines, after all. At least I dont think it is.

I agree, Rashmi, that technology is about how we use it. In and of itself it is not good or bad. It is kinda' sad...everything is so fast paced these days with texts and im's and such. Where is the human touch, like a phone call or an actual letter handwritten on paper. And what about the kids growing up addicted to chatrooms or tv or video/internet games. Perhaps we should reconsider what price is being paid for all this technology and use it in moderation.
