This is one of the times Society's Logic Defies me. It is a common occurrence in places like India to blame the victim of Rape, sexual harassment or molestation...as I read the above I wonder, when this will change.

I don't know. I really don't. It just seems like there are certain ideas on this earth that people just won't use their brain and evolve away from. Sad really.
I call it the Accountability Factor...For thousands of years men have made the rules and laws, religious or otherwise.. and women have been subjugated.. Basically it stems, originally, from archaic religious systems... The seat of power in all dysfuntional societies...You will NOT hear of rape in aboriginal societies or any society that has not been infiltrated by religious dogma. Oppression begins with power, control and suppression...and when men make the rules, the first thing they do is exert power over what they can... Each successive century has sent these power structures more and more into insanity... as Power corrupts the mind.. Since women have been taught to subjugate themselves.. they now believe in their powerlessness... and the legal systems, via religious power structures have condoned, and for the most part, excused the behavior of men... It's to the point men actually think they can do whatever they want in some countries.. and it spreads like a wildfire in Arizona.. as accountability is being erased from our psyches...and women believe they are powerless...'cause men have caused them to think that way ... Only way to stop it.. is for women .. en mass to support each other.. and step up to the plate. Burkas and veils need to be removed.. as those actually cement in place a woman is not entitled to even an identity... This weakened position and becoming comfortable with no identity has to go.. if society is to rid itself fo grass roots indemic belief systems where women cooperate with such social injustices.
