Rejection
An unspoken sneer
In his eyes appear
A smile curves my lip
As love gives a slip.
Dejection
Withdrawn into a cave forlorn
Timidly holding on to fate unborn
Amidst open spaces and silence
Leaning on unknown resilience.
Projection
I see what is not there
The whispers and words unfair
Scarred with unseen scar
Every sight, a mirage afar.
An unspoken sneer
In his eyes appear
A smile curves my lip
As love gives a slip.
Dejection
Withdrawn into a cave forlorn
Timidly holding on to fate unborn
Amidst open spaces and silence
Leaning on unknown resilience.
Projection
I see what is not there
The whispers and words unfair
Scarred with unseen scar
Every sight, a mirage afar.

Wow, dear Rashmi, you mastered the words to perfection!
Beautiful poem!
I like the dejection poem. :)
oooooo ......You master of expression simplified to essence !... You make Haiku child's play... Your sensitive mind pulls the consciousness to attention and brings tears to the unsuspecting...... Rashmi ...??? Where the hell is your book ???
