I watched the Chinese Movie "House of flying daggers" last year sometime. I loved the simple theme of the movie.. the Story can be told in one paragraph.
The chinese police were trying to catch the leader of a revolutionary group that is against the imperial throne, while the group is trying to infilterate the police force. Between their efforts two souls get involved in a love-hate-duty relationship. How they resolve their hearts and the reality is what the movie is all about. It has some really beautiful scenery of the Ukranian countryside. There was this dance sequence I particularly loved. It was called the echo game in the movie.. here it is for your viewing pleasure.
In the sequence Zhang Ziyi plays the part of a supposedly blind dancing girl and Andy Lau is the guy who is throwing the beans .
