Super video...The difference between believing what others tell you..and what you choose to believe about yourself. and having the guts to dare to prove them wrong.
Most of us have trouble believing ourselves when the "others" are those we care about or are craving approval from. With these, we forget that it is merely their perception of us and not necessarily a reality of how/who we are.
Oh those darned cravings !...Kinda like chocolate... something we love to eat..no matter the consequences...Instant satisfaction..long term addiction...both unhealthy..and power given where there should be none.
There is so much truth here and I feel that failure for some gives them more resolve to succeed. Also there are those who do not listen to others because their passions and desires are so strong that no matter what others say they will persist with their inherent talents until they are satisfied and by then others have usually noticed their amazing abilities. The moral..never give up on your dreams nor underestimate the power of your own personal talents. We are all here for a reason!
This blog has more to it as I come back and catch a few responses...It makes me think ..Sometimes what we want is personal success... we don't have to be President or whatever.. Being satisfied with one's life is something that seems to be elusive..But sooner or later it is the one area we always come to..Once, at a very difficult time in my life..I was challenged to answer that question.>>.What DO I want?<< It took a very long time to answer that question...First I had to prioritize my want list. Was it fame? riches? happy family? talent? peace? Is it to stand at the top of the pillar? or is it to stand face to face with life and say "I am enough".

Very nice story, but lots and lots of people will never get what they want, no matter how much they try.
well then I hope I get what I want tonight *kidding*
of course we can't get anything we want however it does not hurt to try
