Things I have learned

At 7 I learned I am not the center of the universe.

At 10 I learned that though fruits stolen from another's tree is tasty, they dont lack consequences.

At 12 I learned there is no greater joy than doing things for others just for the heck of it.

At 16 I learned that no matter how many people you  love and how many love you, you are almost always alone, so get comfortable with yourself.

At 18 I learned that Love is an illusion, its just hormone induced insanity.

At 30 I learned that Love isnt an illusion, it manifests in the form of caring, affection and accepting people for what they are without asking that they satisfy your expectation of how they should be. That love could exist over great physical distances and without reciprocation.

At 32 I learned that you cant "push someone up the ladder", they need to climb up in their own time.

At 34 I learned that you cant fight someone else's battle for them.

This year I hope I learn to ask for what I need, cause people cant read my mind.

life is constantly about learning, ive found what i thought i knew, can be changed in the blink of an eye ! Your last one is important for you because as you said only you know what you need , people are all so different what one may want , another may have no use for.

Being in Love is a psychosis as far as I'm concerned. Love is all those practical things which you describe.

Love is all that you've said and even more...
Can be painful or can lift us high in hapiness... I think love is something to live for.

As for the other things you've learned..we learn everyday something and never know it all!
And it's good like that!:)
